OBJECTIVE


STRATEGIES


  • Using health and education based services as an entry point into the target group.
  • Reinforcing the livelihood based of people through interventions that enhance the target groups access to and control over land and water based resources and also leads to enhanced returns from the same.
  • Facilitating computer and entrepreneurship development training programme to enhance peoples earning capacities.
  • Organising delivery of services in a manner that increasingly brings the services within the control of the target group.
  • Addressing the issue of sustainability of service through exploring and creating opportunity for community financing as well as through creating structures and capacities to successfully advocate streamlining and strengthening of the government machinery.  Sensitization, mobilization and organization of target group into strong community based programmes.
  • Facilitating participation of the target group members in the Panchayati Raj Institutions both informed participants in Gram Sabhas.
  • Developing a pool of trainers and their relevant capacity building in terms of hands on training.
  • Using its core competencies in running savings and credit programmes, health checkup, education, computer training and entrepreneurship development programmes to build up its client constituency for training and allied support.
  • PROGRAMME & ACTIVITIES


  • Vocational training among youth and women section of the community with a focus on income and employment generation education like computer training, entrepreneurship development, Handicrafts, Tailoring, Electronic goods like computer, T.V, Radio, Mobile repairing etc.
  • Conducting health education awareness generating programmes among the rural people with help of local doctors.
  • Health education and promotion of primary health care with special emphasis on reproductive and child health services.
  • Training of formal and adult education with a focus on socially relevant education.
  • Running a training-cum-production centre for poor women in Madhubani painting and providing marketing support for their produce.
  • Skill development of Entrepreneurs.
  • Organise workshop and seminar for rural development.
  • Organise awareness camp on consumer and environmental protection in rural areas.
  • Organise seminar on information technology among students in the campus of Reena Thakur Group of institutions.
  • Organise several times cultural activities programmes among youth and students for their personality and total development.
  • HIGHLIGHTS OF ACHIEVEMENTS


  • Advance Information Technology Development Society has till date organized several times of computer training programme since 10 years and has benefitted more than four thousand students in computer training.
  • The organization has to its credit that it has provided job and placement among the computer trained student.
  • About 200 persons have been benefitted through entrepreneurship development training programmes and most of them have been set-up its own Business and small scale industries in rural area for rural industrialization.
  • More than 100 students have been gained quality based education in technical education through distance and regular courses made by different universities.  About 500 school children have been benefitted through environmental protection activities through cultural activities which were sponsored by the organization.
  • Since last four years AITDS has organized several times of seminar, workshop, and symposium in the premises of its registered office.
  • On the strength of experience of having run a community health programme in some village of Madhubani district for over one year. The organization has been able to extend health education and promotion coverage 20 more villages with no additional financial involvement. Health volunteers and TBAS from these villages have been imparted training by the health personnel of AITDS.
  • AITDS also has to its credit the fact that 3 NFE centres are being run with community financing and management.
  • Since last four years AITDS has organized cultural programmes among the students in our institution campus.
  • Since last three years AITDS has organized awareness camp on consumer protection and rural development among the people of rural community at panchayat level.
  • AITDS has till date organized five times vocational training programmes among women community and have trained more than 500 women in Madhubani painting and tailoring.
  • STAFF STRENGTH


    In all that this point of time it has a workforce of 150 including both full time and part-time staff. It has a skilled resource pool of staff with training skills in running of computer training programmes, entrepreneurship development programme, Mithila painting Training programme, Technical education programme and other relevant programmes and in facilitating the passage from group to organization at the community level.
